Why I love Drugstore Make Up Tag

Why I love DrugStore Make-up Tag!

Heeellooo!!! :) :)  Here's a little Tag from me today about, what else? Make-up!! hehe! :) Enjoy!! :) xo

1. What is your favourite drugstore make-up brand?

This would have to be  MUA! :) Who knew that their 'Undressed' Palette would be such a good dupe for the Urban Decay Naked?! It's fabulous! I have lots of love for them! :)

2. What are your favourite face, cheek and lip products?

Face: This would have to be my Rimmel 'Wake Me Up Foundation' although I have recently tried the Bourjois '123 Perfect' Foundation and this is pretty fab too! I use 17's Shine Control Loose Powder too it sets my foundation pefectly and helps to control any shine I get. I also have love for the Collection (2000) Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer too! A new find but oh so amazing! :)

Cheek:  I don't really use a cheek product but I do have a bronzing product from Asda that I use every so often.

Lip: Hhmm tough one! I have been using a lot of the 'Kate' Lipsticks from Rimmel recently and have found them all to be amazing!!

3. Least favourite product?

Not sure I have a least favourite one but I guess anything that's 'out of reach' for the bargin hunter beauty bloggers that is 'apparently' the new 'it' product that is raved about and hyped up but then doesn't live up to its excpectations! I hate flase advertising!! :(

4. What is the best make-up bargain?

This would probably have to be MUA again!! :) Their dupes for high end make up is amazing! Also their eye primer is the best I've heard bad things about a lot more expensive ones and mua's is only £1!!!! haha!! Brilliant!

5. What is your favourite underdog product? (Something you love that often gets overlooked?)

The Collection (2000) Concealer is amazing! I've heard/read lots of bloggers rave about it and I finally picked it up last week and I have to say it covers my horrible red spots, redness on my cheeks and of course those dreaded under eye bags! lol :) FABULOUS!

6. A drugstore product that is overpriced?

I think a lot gets overlooked actually. I think max factor is unnecessarily overpriced!! I bet a lot of bloggers would love to try out the new foundation but can't because of the price!! If you get it whilst it's on offer then brilliant but as soon as that's over it's back up to overpicied!! I think if it's in a drugstore it should be a reasonable price!! :(

That being said, I think L'Oreal is overpriced as well! I think I was caught out paying too much for my primer (which is amazing!) I wish I'd read some blogs about it before forking out over a tenner for it!! :( MEH!

7. Show your best drugstore dupe(s)!!

This is MUA's 'Undressed' Palette and it is the twin to Naked from Urban Decay!!! Amazing bargin-£4!! :)

8. Drugstore product that isn't worth the hype?

Not sure really!! Possibly anything from L'Oreal/Max Factor! I don't think I actually have anything in my make-up that is not worth the hype! Thnks to being a blogger I get the chance to read posts about items which saves me a fortune! lol :)

So there you have it!! :)  A little rambling post from me today I hope you've enjoyed reading it!! :)

Let me know your fave drugstore make up and perhaps even do a post yourself, I'd be interested to read!! :)

I tag Purple Elli from Little Beauty Blog to have a go at this! hehe! :)

  2. Loving this tag. I agree about overpriced products. I think Maxfactor and LOreal and the like look at high end brands like Chanel and YSL and think that as long as they aren't charging prices that are as high as those brands people will think it's a bargain. And maybe they do- but brands like MUA show that price is no indicator of quality. The only liquid eyeliner I've ever found to stay put all day has been Collection 2000s- I wouldn't swap it for the world
