My Evening With The Body Shop - Harrogate!

http://www.writingrambling.co.uk

A few weeks ago I attended a #bloggersevent at the Harrogate branch of The Body Shop. It was the first time this store had held an event and I was eager to see what they would be showcasing! This would be their first Blogger's Event and they were keen to show off their new matte lipsticks and new additions to their Spa of the World Collection.

All of the candles, bath milks, massage oils and exfoliants are desgined to help bring the spa to your own bathroom and I can attest to them smelling absolutely incredible and very high end. The Hawaiian Kukui Cream helps to restore skin's natural suppleness, leaving it feeling nourished and soft. Japanese Camellia Cream helps to soften and moisturise skin, the incredible scent of this pure and elegant flowers allows mind and body to reconnect with a moment of profound peace. Dead Sea Salt Scrub is a gentle exfoliater with added oils enabling you to choose just how much of it you use and how much oil. It leaves skin glowing and soft ready for moisturiser. The oils help to keep skin supple and replenished with oil.

Each of the scents within the Spa Range have a matching candle to really bring that Spa at home feeling to your bathroom! Use them together to really focus the mind and as a fast track to tranquility. They are priced at £15 each and would make a perfect present.

Now I was lucky enough to see these matte lip liquid creams before they actually went on sale and I have to say I am very impressed! I love the colour range, there are plenty of colours to choose from (12 in total) for every outfit, from nude browns, through to pinks, reds right upto a gorgeous dark purple shade! Just gorgeous!! I know some people can be a bit fussy with matte lips, that they don't glide on as easily as the glossy shades or don't last as long but I can attest that not being the case with these!! They go on so easily and last very well too! Yes you may need a lip balm handy but that's to be expected really. The only trouble I had was choosing which one to test first! aha!!

As part of the whole night we were each given personalised skincare consultations to show what The Body Shop has to offer as part of their in store services. I was very happy with mine, given to me by Trisha (store manager) and I went home with various samples and can report back that my skin loved it!! Looks like I'll have to invest in some Body Shop Skincare!

Thanks very much to The Body Shop Harrogate for having me, I had a really great time playing with all your products and enjoying a little pamper!! I will definitely be back for another event soon!!

Love, Sarah
