Hi hunnies.

Thank you very much Sarah for allowing me to have a  little guest post here on her amazing blog!

I decided to do a little eye make up look to give you an idea of what you can find on my blog

Recently I have been stuck in a bit of a rutt when it comes to my eye make up.  I either use the MUA Undressed Palette or the Urban Decay Naked Palette just depends what comes to hand first, I have so many other eyeshadows, eyeliners, glitters that are feeling a bit left out in my collection that deserve some attention.  So I have decided to try and use colours I haven't used for a while and show them love.
MUA Going for Gold - £4 Available on the Make Up Academy Online Store HERE
The other day I decided to create a simple grey/silver look using my MUA Going for Gold Palette.  I bought this palette when it was first released in celebration of the Olympics last year.  I used it lots when I first got it but then sadly forgot about it and only used it every now and then.  This was  mainly because the shades in this palette are quite out there and not colours I would use everyday, well that is about to change - I am going to make this palette suitable for everyday use.

Create this Look

After priming my eyes with MUA Eyeshadow Primer, I used the matt grey shade in the palette all over my lid to create a base for the other shadows.  I added the lighter sliver shade in the crease and dotted in the corner of my eye this is a really shimmery shadow and a little goes a long way.  Just to add a little depth to the look I added the darkest silver shade to the outer third of my lid and blended loads.  To finish the look I added a thin line of liquid liner and lashings of mascara.

I never thought I would wear silver eyeshadow in the daytime but I think it works really well and mixes things up a little from my usual neautral smokey eye. Would you create a similar look to this for daytime?

I hope you have enjoyed this post, Ill look forward to seeing you over on My Blog!

Lots of Love Gem
