#smallbiz Series

Hello there! I have decided to start another new series on my Blog, this time focussing on small businesses. Being a blogger I am regularly put in touch with owners of small businesses and it is a part I really do enjoy! Whether it be reviewing a product, service or finding a new company which sells fashion at an affordable price, there is often a small team of people behind it, plugging away, putting in the late nights and the early mornings trying everything to make a success out of their little business. I do feel, that as bloggers we owe some responsibility to them as more and more of them are turning to Twitter and bloggers alike to promote themselves. Plus, I think it's fun being one of only a handful of bloggers lucky enough to discover a burgeoning business and getting to trial some of their products! Or is that just me!?
I have found all of the business I'll be featuring on Twitter, under the hashtag #smallbiz! To start with, I'll be featuring a couple of the small businesses I've already come into contact with, as that way I hope that a few of you will have already heard of them too!
So if you like finding new places to buy fashion, beauty or a present for your loved one, sit back, grab a cuppa and read on!

So today I want to talk to you about Crafty Creatives a fabulous little company created by Claire, a graphic designer with an interest in fashion, baking and marketing, and her sister Isobel who has an way with making jewellery! Way back in January 2012 they wanted to create a crafty subscription box in which to put their creative and marketing skills to better use!! In July 2012 when Crafty Creatives launched it was a success!
There are 3 boxes to choose form, #beadycreatvies, #paperhaul and the orginial Crafty Creatives! Let me introduce each box to you in turn and what you can expect to find inside!

Willow Weaving Aug 2015
This is the first the original Crafty Creative Box! Bursting with creativity these boxes are all set up and ready to go! Claire has sourced products from all over the country to put together a box which will engage the mind and keep the hands busy! Past boxes include wet felting, mosaic making and willow weaving!! Each box is kept a surprise so you really do get that 'What have I got this month?' feeling!

Crafty Creatives

For those of you more interested in your jewellery, there are the #beadycreative boxes! Perfectly put together to give you everything needed to make your own bracelet, necklace or trinket, these boxes bring out the crafter in you!

There are online tutorials which correspond to each box to help you out if you're not the most handy with a needle, thread or beading!! I think this is great as I like to think I'm creative when actually all I create is mess!!!

Fairytale - December 2015

Stargirl - Feb 2016

Ok, so onto the whole point of this post.......the AMAZING collaboration between the amazingly talented Jemma from dorkfaceblog and #Paperhaul!!! I mean, just LOOK at those designs, they just make your eyes pop open as soon as you look at them!!!! :O :O :O :O

Each month, #Paperhaul collaborate with a different illustrator so you can guarantee unique designs dropping through your letterbox. What I love about this whole idea is the smile it must bring to everyone's face when they open their box, because believe you me, I'm not sure it would be possible not to!! I absolutely adore these designs, Jemma must have worked so incredibly hard them and I know for sure that I'll not be giving them away!! They'll stay with me, continuing to make me smile for a long time to come!! =)

Inside this box are 3 notelets with envelopes, 3 gift tags, one big card with envelope, a notebook (featuring designs on both covers as well as inside!), washi tape (I still don't really know what this is!?!?) and 2 postcards. Quite a lot actually come to think of it. And all for the small sum of £10 + P+P! Extremely handy in case you forget someone's birthday or want to send a thank you note.

By purchasing one of these boxes, you're helping #Paperhaul donate 10p to their chosen charity, PostPals who help us send snailmail to sick children to make them feel better!! How wonderful! Find out more here.

Not only that but in January #Paperhaul worked with charity Refuweegee who aim to make refugees feel welcome in Glasgow! Amazing ay!? Find out more about this amazing charity here.

#CraftyCreatives P+P within the UK is £2.95 and £5.95 across Europe.
#Paperhaul  P+P is £2 within the UK, £5 across Europe and £6 everywhere else!
#Beadhaul P+P is £2.50 within the UK, £5.50 across Europe and £6.50 everywhere else!

They are not on a rolling contract so you can happily purchase a one off box for yourself or as a gift, safe in the knowledge that you'll not get charged the following month!! Perfect!!

Aren't these designs just >.< SO beautiful and creative! I absolutely adore it and am so grateful to Claire for sending it to me for review and allowing me to put it into my second #smallbiz series feature! I think she and her sister Isobel have started up a great company, in Crafty Creatives and with their 3 boxes there really is something for everyone and make a perfect gift if you know someone crafty in your family or you have a friend who loves her stationery!!

Thank You for stopping by to read my #Paperhaul #review and my the second instalment of my #smallbiz series!! Read Part 1, featuring FabLittleBag

Are you crafty or do you just create mess like me!?!? I'd love to know if you have tried any of these boxes before and have made something from it!! Please share pictures!!
