Give Back This Festive Season | Festive Products With A Heart | A Charity Gift Guide 2017.

Christmas can be a tough time of year for some of us and as much as we can turn a blind eye during the other 11 months of the year, but come December it becomes harder. Personally I am always trying to do my best to support my favourite charities throughout the year and I'm forever going through my wardrobe, bagging up clothes and shoes for the charity shops here in Harrogate. So naturally, whilst doing my Christmas shopping it only makes sense to have a browse on a charity's website to see if there's anything which I feel would be a good fit for my family and friends!

I am delighted to bring you a selection of goodies from The British Heart Foundation a charity which reminds me of being at school and jumping rope for heart during one school day where we were split into teams and literally spent the whole day skipping to music, to raise money for the BHF! Fun times!

"Our mission is to win the fight against cardiovascular disease and our vision is a world in which people do not die prematurely or suffer from cardiovascular disease."

The British Heart Foundation are the nation's heart charity & the largest independent researcher of cardiovascular research. Their pioneering research has saved countless lives of people and their families living with heart and circulatory conditions.

The BHF were formed in 1961 by a group of medical professionals wanting to fund extra research into the causes, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of heart and circulatory disease. After half a century of extraordinary scientific research and societal progress they have completely changed the landscape of heart disease. Without them, many hundreds of people would be dead or dying from untreated heart disease. They are incredible.

There are so many ways you can help support the charity, from buying any one of the items available in their charity shops or indeed the ones featured here in their online store. You can also make a donation, take your unwanted items to be sold in their stores (of which there are 500 all over the UK!), support their campaigns, volunteer your time, do your own fundraising or take part in one of their events! There really are so many ways you can help them out, did you know they'll even take your old furniture? Incredible ay?!

Here are just a few of the items available in stores from early November, I hope you like them and find something you love!

So there we have it, just a few items which will available from the British Heart Foundation this Christmas. I really hope you decide to spend your money with a charity this festive season as they more than anyone need your support at Christmas. I for one will definitely be sourcing a few gifts from their shops to help support the vital work they do with cardiovascular disease.

There are so many other worthwhile charities out there this season it would be silly not to at least buy your Christmas cards from one of them! Everyone needs cards and these days almost all of them donate at least some of their total price to a charity. Feel good whilst doing good, it's what Christmas is all about.

Thanks for reading, please let me know if there's anything here which catches your eye. Personally I love the Fairisle socks and the Christmas Pud hat! Haha!

Please check out their website and donate/spend what you can, you never know, it really could change someone's life.

Love, Sarah
