Today is Beer and Pizza Day! I absolutely love a cold, refreshing pint of beer- and pizza is also one of my favourite dishes to enjoy. Put the two together, and you've got a scrumptious weekend all sorted!
It's a common misconception that a vegan diet is restrictive and limiting. However, that's just not the case! I can still enjoy some of my favourite beers and pizzas, without breaking my vegan diet.
From delicious trips to the pub to making my own pizza dish at home, I love finding new, vegan ways to enjoy a tasty beer and pizza whenever I can.

In this post, I've put together 8 unique vegan ideas to try out this Beer and Pizza Day. So, get the dough out, pop open a can of beer and get ready to celebrate Beer and Pizza Day this weekend!
1. Purity Brewing Co. Bunny Hop Hazy Pale Ale
This pale ale is a great vegan beer option for Beer and Pizza Day this year! I've said it before, but I'll say it again, just because you're vegan- it doesn't mean you have to skip your favourite alcoholic beverages.

This low strength beer from Purity has a cool logo and it has a tasty, tropical aroma, including fruity undertones.
You can enjoy a couple of these beers, as they're not too strong but they're packed full of flavour.
2. Purezza
Purezza is the UK's first vegan pizzeria, and they have locations across the country, including Brighton, Hove, Bristol, Camden and Manchester.

3. Sweet potato pizza
If you're looking for a vegan option, you can't go wrong with a bit of sweet potato! A sweet potato pizza gives you the chance to try a vegan pizza and even get a bit of nutrition at the same time.

The pizza base of this pizza is actually made out of sweet potato, and the pizza is topped with olives, vegan cheese, basil and onion.

4. BBQ pizza with cauliflower
Just because you don't eat meat, it doesn't mean you can't enjoy a delicious BBQ pizza!

Wooha Brewing Hop Piñata is fruity, sweet and rich. I can't wait to try this unique vegan beer option soon.
6. Vegan white pizza
Did you know you can enjoy a white pizza, even on a vegan diet?
