Having business cards for your business or blog is a good way to expand your client base, make new connections and perhaps future work. Not to mention, keeping your branding cohesive.
They also help people to remember you after they’ve met you in person, sometimes it can be difficult to remember everyone’s details after a busy day of meetings, events and get togethers.
You may think that as a blogger you may not need business cards and that they’re more for people who own their own business or work in the city. But I’d say that’s where you’re wrong.
There are plenty of reasons for you to own some professional business cards, none moreso than as a blogger, you’re creating content on a website which people visit to read said content.
Sometimes this content is sponsored (like this post!) so therefore it could be classed as a business, so why not have some beautiful business cards to hand out to people when you meet them IRL?
You should be proud of everything you produce and want to attract more potential clients to work with?
Why Business Cards Are A Must!
I used to run my own Pet Sitting & Dog Walking Business after I left university and I distinctly remember needing a business card when a potential customer stopped me in the street, asking me for my contact details!
Luckily I was wearing my uniform which had the name of my business stitched onto it, so she could write it down and then find my ad in the local paper later, but it definitely would have helped if I’d had some of my business cards on me!

Who Are Aura Print?
So, if you’re convinced you need some business cards for your blog or business, then let me introduce you to Aura Print.
Your local printer who can also serve your business from across the globe, they pride themselves in making you feel like you’re ordering from your local printer, wherever you are in the world.
Their main goal has always been to provide high quality print that doesn’t break the bank, with expert advice to top it all off. From the moment I was put in touch with Liam, I was able to fully control everything about the design and format of my business cards.
There are so many different designs to choose from that there’s bound to be a design for you! And with the ability to put your own logo on the cards, you can really personalise them and make the cards your own.
Of course, I had to go for the rose gold foil design, such a basic blogger move but look at them! Aren’t they beautiful? They feel really substantial and like they’ll not bend when placed inside someone’s bag or purse.
I opted for them to be made from recycled paper so I could at least feel better about doing my bit for the planet! I have to say I’m very impressed with the quality of the cards, they feel thick at first touch and definitely a higher quality than the ones I used to print off myself at home!
Aura Print definitely go above and beyond when it comes to customer service, at every stage I was sent drafts of the proposed cards and I could adjust these to my heart’s content, ensuring they showed off my blog to its very best.

Using Business Cards As Part Of Your Online Branding
I’ve talked about how important branding is for your blog before, I mentioned that each part of your online/digital presence should be cohesive across all platforms.
This should also be carried across to your business cards too, so that any potential customer/brand wanting to work with you can instantly recognise your work as yours.
You should look at business cards as an extension of everything you do online. Sometimes you can get so caught up in ensuring that you’re seen/discoverable online that you can forget that sometimes, good old fashioned word of mouth and meeting with brands in real life is actually how you might get some work!
Whenever you meet someone you want to leave them thinking about you and your online space and what you can offer them, so what better way to do this than with a beautiful business card from Aura print?

Final Thoughts
So, would I recommend Aura Print if you’re looking for business cards for your blog or business? Well, in a word, yes!
I am so very impressed with how Liam and Jenna were both very easy to work with and were excellent in communicating how my cards were coming along and checking all of the artwork with me.
The turnaround was timely too, despite the fact they were extremely busy with orders! The cards arrived safely, all encased in their own plastic boxes, tied with an elastic band, surrounded by polystyrene tubes.
This ensured that they didn’t move during transportation and arrived to me in perfect condition – which they did!
So, are you convinced about having business cards for your blog/business yet? Because you should be. Aura Print will look after your needs, from wherever you are in the world and deliver your cards safely and in good time, ensuring that you can get out there telling more people all about your branding!
