First up, many thanks to Claire from clairemacblog for tagging me in this festive tag post! It's been a while since I took part in one and also it's good to have some festive content on the blog!
I'm hoping I'll soon be feeling festive because at the moment, there's a distinct lack of all things festive in my life right now....if you have any tips on how to rectify this then please let know below!
Without further ado, let's get on with the tag post!

What is your favourite Christmas treat?
My favourite Christmas treat would have to be mince pies! I absolutely love them and in recent years have even begun making my own – including the mincemeat!
They were delicious and so every year I make my own pastry and add in either homemade or shop bought mincemeat.
What Christmas traditions do you celebrate?
In our family, both my sister and myself both wake up on Christmas morning and go into our parent’s bedroom with our stockings (which we still get, many, many years on!) which we open on their bed, whilst still in our pyjamas and drinking buck’s fizz! It’s wonderful and one I hope to continue for many years to come.
Are you wishing for snow this year?
Absolutely not. We’ve had it already this year and I’m so done with it! The snow is great to look at, not so much fun to be outside in! I’d instead prefer a really cold, crisp day where the sun is out and I can still go for a run!
What is your favourite Christmas movie?
Well, I really do enjoy The Holiday & Love Actually, but my favourite film is one my sister introduced me to a few years ago and one I can’t go through Christmas without watching: The Polar Express.
It’s absolutely wonderful and makes me believe in the magic of Christmas all over again.
Have you ever built a gingerbread house?
Nope and I don’t intend to! They look hard as hell! Just give me some gingerbread flavoured dough which I can make biscuits out of – much easier!
What is your favourite Hot Chocolate?
Oooo well first and foremost, it has to be vegan. No dairy here please! After that, add oat milk or any other dairy free milk, some vegan marshmallows and you’re good to go!
What gift are you hoping to get this year?
Well I’ve asked for a couple of books but other than that I’m hoping to be surprised because sometimes it’s good to be surprised in life.
If you're looking for a few vegan gifts this year, check out my Christmas gift guide!
