If someone we know if going through a tough time, we have no problem at all finding ways to make their day brighter.
We might buy them a present, give them a hug or just message them everyday.
But it can be so hard to take the time to treat ourselves.
Treating yourself is so important, and it doesn't have to be expensive or time-consuming!

In this post, I've come up with 5 little ways to treat yourself this Spring.
Including little gestures and fun presents, treat yourself the right way this Spring and Summer.
1. Give yourself the day off- for no reason!
One of the best ways to treat yourself is to give yourself the day off. Or even just the afternoon off, if your job will allow for this.
A bit of time all to yourself is so important- and it can feel so special to take time off for no reason at all.

It's not Christmas, you're not going on holiday, it's not your birthday. You can do whatever you want with your day!
Lounge on the sofa or go to a spa. Whatever makes you feel like you've given yourself a little treat.
It'll also make you more productive the day after, and break up a long week.
2 Buy your favourite meal
I love to buy myself a delicious meal when I want a treat, and it can boost my mood if I'm having a tough or stressful day.
This might mean popping out to your local café, or buying a few simple ingredients to cook a delicious meal a home.

Treat yourself to your favourite food as a little treat, especially at the end of a long day!
3. Meet up with a loved one
Sometimes one of the best ways to treat yourself, is to speak to someone you love.
Call a friend or family member, or treat yourself to some good quality catch-up time with the people you love.

It can be so hard to make time for the people in your life, so treat yourself to a fun day-out or catch-up with loved ones this Spring.

4. Treat someone else!
It might sound strange, but treating someone else can just be so much fun.
It can give you a fantastic little mood boost, and everyone loves to see their loves ones happy!

Buy your partner a surprise little gift or treat your Mum to a delicious lunch.
This is a great way to improve your mental health- and it will perk up someone else's mood too. It's a win/win.
5. Leave yourself a cute note
A great way to treat yourself this Spring is to leave yourself reassuring or cute messages.
You could leave yourself hourly reminders on your phone, telling yourself how far you've come or how well you're doing.

Or you could even write out little notes, reminding yourself to take care of yourself and prioritise your mental health.
This will give you a little surprise every once in a while, and it's a lovely little way to treat yourself this Spring!

What do you do to treat yourself? Do you have any suggestions? Let me know!
