AD | Upping My Skincare Regime With PMD Clean

And Getting New Nails With Benecos Polishes - Natural & Vegan Nailcare | It's The Little Things In Life

AD- Post in collaboration with SV PR, it contains products gifted for the purposes of this review

You may remember I have previously written about the PMD Personal Microderm Device, which was kindly gifted to me to trial and then review. I have used it many times since then and loved the feeling it gave to my skin after each use.

I have since lessened the amount I use it and have instead been using my new Barefaced 2 Magnitone brush which I won from Fuel PR.

I was surprised then to hear from the PR I worked with on my last post - not only did she love it but she also wanted to send me the new PMD Clean device which had recently launched.

It came at the right time as I was looking to up my skincare regime with another device to work in harmony with the other devices and products I already had.

About the PMD Clean Device

The New PMD Clean is a smart facial cleansing device that uses SonicGlow technology. It has four customizable models and brush optimised for all skin types.

SonicGlow technology - with 7000 vibrations per minute, PMD Clean deeply removes the skin's impurities by breaking down dirt and oil from within the pores.

The beauty of silicone - using ultra-hygienic silicone, PMD Clean is odour resistant, antibacterial, hypoallergenic and waterproof.

The hassle free brush head never needs replacing.

Customizable for all skin types - a powerful cleansing device with bristles gentle enough for all skin types. With four customizable modes, PMD Clean provides a full spectrum of cleansing options.

Anti aging facial massage - supercharge your skin care regime by using the SonicGlow technology to massage serums and moisturiser for a more youthful look.

Ditch the cords - why hassle with cords and recharging? PMD Clean is portable and powered by a single AA battery (included).

PMD Clean comes with a 2 year limited manufacture warranty. Soft silicone bristles, waterproof, ergonomic design, easy AA battery.

My Review

I have to say I wholeheartedly love this PMD Clean device, I love how small it is and how well it fits in my hand when using it. After the first use my face honestly felt SO smooth and like a whole layer of skin had been sloughed off - which was much needed I can tell you!

Sometimes there's nothing better than a damn good deep clean using a device such as the PMD Clean, my usual topical exfoliators just weren't cutting it and my face felt like it just needed something more.

So it was into the shower with this and my trusty Liz Earle dupe cleanser to put it through it's paces. I liked that there's no timer on the device either, I felt free to move around my face at my leisure, staying in areas needing more attention and leaving others which didn't. On first use I also used the back of the PMD Clean to help apply my serum and moisturiser - this was amazing and I'd like to apply all my products like this please! I felt like they absorbed so much better - especially after using it with my cleanser prior - I honestly felt like I'd had a facial in some fancy spa!

I use my PMD Clean device almost everyday, I find that because it's so small and lightweight I want to pick it up and cleanse my face with it every time I step into my shower or bath. It has quickly become my go to whenever I go into my bathroom, whether that be a quick cleanse of a morning or a more luxurious complete facial in the evenings.

I love the fact the head has different bristles on it - you really feel like the device is getting down deep and dirty, bringing all the yucky muck, grime and dirt to the surface so it can be easily washed away. It does all this without any painful or sharp needles or bristles which I find excellent and just what I'm looking for in an at home PMD device, when it comes to my face there's no way I'm putting anything sharp near it!

The reverse of the PMD Clean has ridges on it which help to gently apply my serums/moisturisers - I loved using the last two vibration modes for this. I felt these gave the best results as well as bring anti ageing!

The SonicGlow technology, with its 7000 vibrations per minute really help to ensure my products are really effective and doing the best possible job which in turn leaves my skin looking and feeling fabulous! Another element of the PMD Clean which I really love is the fact there aren't any cords needing for charging. With my Magnitone, I always have to remember the charging cable and little charging unit that sits on top of the brush.

When you already have enough cables and chargers to worry about when going away, this just seems necessary! Overall I really love this PMD Clean device, I find it super easy to use, light to hold and the results speak for themselves. If you're in the market for a new cleansing device I can highly suggest checking it out!

Benecos Natural Nail Polishes

Painting your nails, something every young girl, teenager, young woman, hell, every person you see on Instagram doing. I used to paint mine too, all the time but since starting my new job it's something I just don't do anymore because the polish will just get ruined!

But occasionally when I'm off for a period of time it's a part of my self-care routine which I like to take the time to do and as I'm vegan and have recently been using more natural make-up, it only seemed right that my nail polish be more natural too. Step in Benecos.

Benecos polishes are all natural with avocado and biotin designed to help keep your mail healthy whilst also giving it a beautiful hit of colour. The formula is based on up to 90% sustainable natural raw materials which means you can rest assured there's nothing harmful in there either.

All Benecos polishes are free from 8 harmful ingredients including: toluene, formaldehydes, camphor, phthalates, parabens, silicones, TPHP and colophony.

I decided to go for the colours Nordic Blue and Rock It because blue is my favourite colour and the browner colour looked like it would be good for more of a natural nail. I first applied a coat of my new Rejuvacote nail growing system polish to help strengthen my nails.

My Thoughts

Upon application I found it to give a good coat of colour with only a little bit of streaking. I found I needed two coats to get a good strong colour. I must admit, I did this when I was slightly tipsy so probably didn't do the best job of application but I think it went on OK? With more time I know I would get a better outcome.

I just love how the avocado and biotin will be doing good for my nails whilst they have colour on them. Sometimes wearing nail polish isn't too good for your overall nail health, especially if you tend to wear a lot of dark colours and don't let your nails breathe in between applications.

My nails were in a really bad state prior to getting gels on them before I went on holiday, really short, breaking off, I felt they weren't growing; just all the stress of working long hours was beginning to show and in my case my nails bore the worst of it.

But afterwards, I found that not only had my nails grown but the nail beds themselves were in overall better condition. After I took the colour off I used my four sided buffing brick to bring them back to life and give this colour a better base to grip to.

I applied a coat of Rejuvacote as a primer and then again as a top coat to help ensure my nails stay in good condition. And with these polishes being free from 8 nasty chemicals, I feel confident and most importantly, happy using and recommending these Benecos polishes to you.

Happy painting!

Love, Sarah
